Dental Trauma/Injuries

Dental trauma or injuries
any damage to the mouth

Dental trauma or injuries refer to any damage to the teeth, gums, jaw, or other structures of the mouth. This can include injuries such as chipped or broken teeth, knocked-out teeth, soft tissue injuries, and jaw fractures.

The treatment of dental trauma will depend on the type and severity of the injury but may include emergency care such as stabilizing and splinting of injured teeth, cleaning and suturing of wounds, and antibiotics to prevent infection. In some cases, follow-up treatment may be required such as root canal therapy, tooth extractions, or orthodontic treatment. Dental trauma should be treated as soon as possible to ensure the best possible outcome.

If you or anyone has suffered dental trauma, call the KDC reception immediately and we will try to accommodate you as soon as possible. Our dentists are trained to handle trauma cases. If the trauma is very complex or requires specialized care, we will provide emergency care and refer you to the relevant specialist.
